Job Title: Inside Sales Customer Service Representative

Are you a dynamic and results-driven individual with a passion for customer service and

proven track record in sales? We are seeking a highly motivated Inside Sales Customer Service

Representative to join our team at Hamburg Overhead Door, Inc. As an integral part of our sales and customer service department, you will play a crucial role in fostering positive customer relationships while driving revenue growth through strategic sales initiatives.

Responsibilities:

 Customer Engagement: Interact with customers via phone, email, and in person to

provide exceptional service and address inquiries promptly.

 Sales Generation: Proactively identify and pursue sales opportunities by promoting our

products/services, upselling, and cross-selling to maximize revenue. (Not cold calling!)

 Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing

customers to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.

 Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of our products/services to

effectively communicate their features and benefits to customers.

 Problem Resolution: Address customer concerns and issues in a timely and effective

manner, collaborating with other departments as needed to ensure a positive

resolution.

 Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records, sales activities,

and other relevant information in our CRM system.

 Type up sales estimates, service/installation work orders

 Show garage doors to customers in our showroom and use product and manufacturer

knowledge to match customer with product best suited for them

 Accurately process customer transactions such as orders, quotes or returns

 Educate customers about terminology, features and benefits of products in order to

improve product related sales and customer satisfaction

 Work in a team environment to take care of our customers

 Pull small parts from our warehouse for our walk in customers

 Maintain proficiency in using personal computer, data entry terminal and other

common office equipment and software

 Follow company policies and procedures

 Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

 Proven Sales Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience in inside sales, with a

demonstrable track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.

 Customer-Centric: Strong customer service orientation with the ability to build rapport

and establish positive relationships.

 Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability

to articulate product features and benefits persuasively.

 Team Player: Collaborative mindset with the ability to work seamlessly within a team

environment.

 Tech-Savvy: Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools to streamline

processes and enhance productivity. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel,

Word, Power Point and Outlook).

 Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, adapt to changes, and

respond positively to challenges.

 Work Monday-Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and some Saturday’s 9 a.m-12 p.m.

 Work at local trade shows

 Ability to prioritize

 Ability to multitask

 Ability to operate multiple line phone system

 Strong organizational skills

 Attention to detail

 High School Diploma; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
